De stad als spons

Samen bouwen aan een klimaatbestendig Alkmaar

Wat als onze stad regenwater niet zo snel mogelijk afvoert, maar juist vasthoudt?
Wat als straten, pleinen en daken werken als een spons?

Bouw tijdens UPfest mee aan De stad als spons: een groeiende maquette waarin regenwater wordt opgevangen, vertraagd en hergebruikt. Met blauw sponsmateriaal ontstaan huizen, parken, groene daken, waterpleinen en wadi’s. Ieder nieuw element maakt de stad veerkrachtiger.
